FROM THE EDITOR

WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER ISSUE! Massive celebrations! The CHN diary pages are back!

Someone has pressed the ‘play’ button. At last, we have some competition listings for you; over 600. A little way to go yet, to get back into full swing of around 1000 an issue. Things are heading in the right direction though with this gradual awakening. This said, many events sadly fell victim to the Covid-19 chaos. I hope that they manage to recover from any financial losses and to be back in full swing in 2021. We will be offering some very attractive promotional packages for 2021 to help with the rebuild.

If you are running an event, please be sure to email the information about it to showdates@centralhorsenews.co.uk before the deadline (15th of the month prior to publication) to ensure inclusion. We would also love to receive your show reports for publication in one of our Special issues.

Back to this issue, not only does it have over 600 diary listings, we have three interesting and informative veterinary articles; we also meet Jess Maye and Dylan Ward, and have another chapter of Joe’s Journal.

As I sign off, the autumn feels upon us; big puddles, slippery mud and the nights are drawing in. We’ll be back in a few weeks with our Autumn Special.

Don’t forget that if you would like your story published, email h.dodd@centralhorsenews.co.uk for consideration
