FROM THE EDITOR WECOLME TO THE SUMMER SPECIAL ISSUE!
Summer is now well and truly upon us. At last we are slowly emerging out of lockdown, and equestrian activities are now under way once again.
We have taken a skip in issues to accommodate the recommencing show and event calendar. Instead of the August/September issue, the next one will be the September/October issue. It will be good to see the diary section back in place.
The cover picture of this issue is our very own Jo Monck on her gorgeous PRE Fusion gelding, Durante. This is a first for us, as not only is Jo in the photo but she also took it! She is posing here, wearing a mask made by The Vintage-Patch company.
There is lots to read in the issue. Holland Cooper have kindly offered up a base layer and legging for our giveaway, see page 26. There is some great advice from our team of vets covering General Anaesthesia, Grass Sickness and The Newborn Foal. We have some lovely reader stories too.
