William Lucioni, who was born in Bethnal Green, London, was killed in action on 22 August 1918, while serving with the 9th Battalion, Rifle Brigade. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.

He was killed in action during the Battle of the Somme on 23 July 1916, on which date the Battalion was involved in an attack on Guillemont and sustained heavy casualties. Wood has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
