Obituary
The always friendly face of Garry Pennell – much missed by all in the AV business.
We regret to announce the death of Garry Pennell at 46 after battling with cancer for the last year. A well- known character within the AV indus- try, Garry worked for Vivitar before doing many years with Canon where he was the main contact for their projector customers at distribution, trade and end-user level.
Technological Innovations Group (TIG) has appointed Paolo Vis- intini as its new Sales Director of the Unified Communications division in the EMEA region.
Always the professional he was on top of the new products and fea- tures, pulling in deals from far and wide. Garry was known for organising events to ensure that everyone who attended was looked after and had a good time. His wit and friendly nature meant that many customers became friends over the years and like me will really miss him. He was a great family man and leaves behind Laura his wife, daughter Lucy and son Harrison. Report by Richard Thomas Premier Group (UK) Ltd
