NAF has committed to an initial sponsorship term of three years which will cover both the Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer Championships.

L

British Showjumping members competing between 0.90m – 1.35m on horses in the Bronze and Silver Leagues have the op- portunity to qualify for and compete at both the Spring Showjumping Championships at Addington Equestrian in March and Horse of the Year Show at Birmingham’s NEC Resorts World Arena in October.

Commencing on the 1st October, the eight Autumn/Winter Bronze and Silver Leagues count towards the Championship Finals at the Spring Showjumping Championships and enable horses and riders to qualify via a performance based route. There are also direct qualifiers at the Spring Showjumping Championships.

The eight Spring/Summer Bronze and Silver Leagues that

commence on the 1st April count towards the Championship Finals hosted at Horse of the Year Show. During the Spring/Summer Leagues, riders aim to qualify for one of the two semi-finals at which seven horse/rider combinations will qualify for the Final at Horse of the Year Show; giving a total of fourteen competitors the chance to contest their respective title. There are two routes to qualify for the semi-finals; either via the direct qualifiers where three tickets will be allocated or via a performance based route where eligible competitors will be identified via the league tables.

Maria Haig, Head of Communications for British Showjumping added “We have been working with the team at NAF for a number of years now and the partnership has gone from strength to strength each year. Today’s announcement sees NAF expand their sponsorship portfolio within the sport by sup- porting two high profile grassroots championships over and above their established sponsorship of the British Showjumping Teams which only serves to highlight their commitment to the sport and those participating in it across all levels.”
