Have you got a child who is always looking for an excuse for more screen time? Would you prefer that they had their head in a book? Libby may be just what you are looking for. Libby is the app for e-books and audiobooks from the library. Here is our quick guide to getting started with Libby
2 Select your library for most of
us that will be the London Library Consortium but you may hold memberships elsewhere. Please note that if you are in Surrey, you will need to access a different app.

If you are setting up a child account, you can add ‘Juvenile’ settings to the account.
With your account set
up, you can search, borrow and hold books. The bottom
navigation shows Library, where you can search for books in your
library, and Shelf on the right hand side, which shows any books you
have already borrowed or reserved. In the centre you will see your current read.

(this is where you will need your PIN). Libby allows you to set up more than one accounts. Accounts can also be
set up on multiple devices. To toggle between accounts – or access
help with using Libby – click on the top right hand corner.
