THE CHRISTMAS SONG
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose,
Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe Help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies in his sleigh. And ev'ry mother's child is gonna spy To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase To kids from one to ninety two;
Although it's been said many times, many ways, "MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU".
MERRY CHRISTMAS WE WISH YOU A
We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas; and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin; Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding; Oh, bring us a figgy pudding; Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some; We won't go until we get some; We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here
We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
