THE COUNTESS BATHURST UNVEILS NEW CHARITY CALENDAR

Based on the ground-breaking success of the Cirencester Charity Calendar, which The Countess Bathurst launched for the first-time last year, raising over £9,000 for three local charities, Lady Bathurst is launching a brand-new calendar for 2020.

The hugely popular local Facebook page, ‘Cirencester a Local Town for Local People', or ‘CATFLAP' as Lady Bathurst fondly calls it, now has over 13,000 followers and frequently sees locals uploading stunning photographs they have taken in and around the area, as well as the breath-taking Bathurst Estate. It was this and the incredible talent of local amateur photographers that originally caught Lady Bathurst's attention and inspired her to use the Facebook group to create the first charity calendar. People were able to submit photographs to be considered for inclusion, vote for the best front cover shot, and the three charities that would benefit from the funds raised.

The 2020 calendar is now almost complete and available for pre- orders. There will be 1,500 printed this year with hopes to smash the £9,000 raised in 2018. Every penny of the proceeds will go to this year's nominated three charities; The Ashley Scrivens Foundation; The Big Yellow Bus Project and The Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home.

Lady Bathurst said; ‘I am absolutely thrilled to be working with the team again to produce a new charity calendar for 2020, to raise funds for three very worthy charities. The success of last year's project was incredible and the support we received from the local community was so very touching. When I muted the idea earlier this year on the ‘Cirencester a Local Town for Local People' Facebook page of producing a new calendar for 2020, the positive response was overwhelming. The photographs for each month and the cover have all now been chosen - we are just finalising the finishing touches and then it will go to print. It is available now for pre-order, and once printed will be for sale both online and in outlets in Cirencester including my own ‘Beano in the Park'.'

Pre-order your copy online at www.cirencestercalendar.co.uk for just £9.00 each.
