This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven media sales ability who still enjoys the challenge of developing business and achieving targets but also wishes to develop their managerial experience and skills. We are a local family run publishing business, providing a supportive work environment, rewarding people for their effort and results.
We publish the Downs Mail, Maidstone & Malling’s leading newspaper which provides unrivalled coverage of the area, connecting with local people like no other and Mid Kent Living - a hugely successful quarterly magazine which is breaking all records for revenue generation and pagination. Our website is attracting more and more visitors every month providing an excellent online option to compliment any print advertising campaign.
The successful applicant will have worked in print media, preferably on local papers and consumer magazines. You will have a positive can do attitude, a determined outlook and an enthusiasm for developing revenues and helping team members to thrive.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. We are offering a basic salary, uncapped commission plus bonus. More importantly you will have the opportunity to prove your potential and take full responsibility for the sales operation within a year of joining us.
You will have a full driving licence and the use of your own car which will need to be insured for business use. We provide a mileage allowance in line with Inland Revenue recommendations.
