Roller dance brothers are heading for glory


MAIDSTONE roller dancing brothers Oliver and Zac Martin are preparing for another inter- national performance inNovem- ber, after earning top scores for Great Britain in Europe. The boys – both British champi-


ons – are proving an inspiration after taking up the sport just six years ago. In their latest performance,


Oliver was competing in the sen- ior men’s solo dance category in Germany, while Zac took part in the youth men’s solo dance cate- gory in Italy. The brothers are bothmembers

RollerDance club,which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary. The club meets at the YMCA in Maidstone, and is one of the old- est roller skating clubs in the country. The club was formed in 1969


and is run by a team of volun- teers, coaches and trainers. Rachel Yildiz, a gold level
