On The Road Festival the best music festival ever??!

We understand that some of you weren’t at the best music festival of the year. We understand that you had plans and other things arranged...

We also understand that, because of what you’ve heard, you’ve already booked the 4th to the 6th of September off ready for next year!

We feel sorry for you for missing out on such a good weekend, so here’s a tiny taste of what it was like...

Friday’s music started off with Braunton Academy Choir serenading the crowds as they flooded in, and the day ended with an electric, face melting, riff packed set from Red Racer. Not forgetting Shake The Geek, The Barefoot Bandit and many others also shredding on the main stage and local legends Ben B MBE and Pete Robinson setting the bar high for the Dance Tent.

Saturday midday was time to grab an Epic Burger from The Epic Veg Kitchen or maybe one of farmer Dave’s super local beef burgers? Washed down with a drink from 51 Degrees North and relax to Small Town Jones. After a few from New Coast Liquor, Stellar Fox started to build the hype up ready for Reef and Dave Smale set the stage perfectly. Reef were, well, MIGHTY!

As is tradition, The SRS Choir open the final day and the music continued with Roy and Andy and many others before finishing with Amy Newton who was joined by an array of guests. The festival was closed by the kidz going crazy in the hay! It wasn’t part of the plan, but with not a phone in site and a bunch of new buddies having a good time, who could complain.

Sorry, we forgot to mention the Skate Ramp, Studio 54, the Kids rock workshops and circus skills. We could go on, but you’ll have to come along on the 4th, 5th and 6th Sep next year to see for yourself why this is in fact the best music festival of the year.
