Lighting manufacturer Sensio has introduced its new Contour profile which has been designed to sit just below the lip of the worktop to illuminate the handleless channel. The profile will house any of Sensio’s flexible lighting strips, making it a perfect solution for adding fully diffused ambient strip lighting into the kitchen. The profile has been manufactured in Polycarbonate with a grey gloss finish, is available in 1.5m and 2.5m lengths and can be cut to the desired size. “We are the first UK supplier of a handleless under worktop profile and the design is totally unique,” said Michael Linsky, Managing Director at Sensio. “We’ve worked closely with kitchen cabinet manufacturers and retailers to design this product specifically for handleless doors. Our customers have used flexible LED strip lights under the worktop for some time, but they wanted a continuous beam of light instead of intermittent diodes and Contour, with its diffused lens, does the job perfectly.” Sensio / sensio.co.uk
