Memorial Hos- pital on June 22nd in his 89th year. Hus- band of Jean, and father of L o r r a i n e (Robert Strong) and Carolyn (Richard de- Boer). Grand- father of Tara and Aaron Lindley, Jenna Strong and Kale Stallaert, Amanda and Trevor Teune, and great grandfather of Raelynn Teune. David & Jean were involved with Arabian

horses for nearly a half century, through their farm Tagalong Stables in Fordwich. They both enjoyed the horses, raising young foals, showing at halter & under saddle and driving. Over the years they accomplished many

achievements, be it show champions, Regional champions, National winners at Canada & the US. Probably their best moments were watching their daughters and grandchildren enjoy the horses and becoming dedicated horsewomen through their own show pursuits. AHAEC was very fortunate to have Dave

build all the wooden cases for the Gladys Brown Edwards trophies the club had as the annual high point award. These cases were exceptional—well built, looked great and made the transportation of the awards easier. Our condolences to the Dinsmore family as

the day prior to Dave’s passing there was a fire at their family farm. The fire destroyed Dave’s work- shop, tools and materials all gone. No other build- ings were damaged.

Grandma of Ryder,Connor,Emily, Austin, Brandon and Ashton. Brenda will be sadly missed by her many family members & friends. Brenda & Brian have been involved with

Arabian horses for many decades. Brenda was Brian’s partner in life, and businesses, Keith Hall Transport and their Arabians and Half-Arabians were a significant part of their lives & farm life. It was gratifying for Brenda to watch her children and then grandchildren become involved with the horses, showing them to a multitude of wins locally and nationally. Brenda’s commitment to the breed and to

AHAEC never waivered, and the club is extremely grateful for her support over the years. AHAEC ex- tends their condolences to all members of the Hall family.

passed away with her son, Marc, by her side in the spring. Donna was a well-respected horsewoman, she owned a farm just north of Stouffville where her prized Arabians were stabled and ridden in the adjoining arena. She was an accomplished rider— english, western, hunter, costume, side saddle, cos- tume—she did it all, and she did all very well! Her

favourite horse of course was

Magiseyn+, a stallion of Crabbet bloodlines and who sired a number of remarkable foals. Magiseyn+ was an accomplished show horse, earn- ing his Legion of Merit quickly and amassing many local wins and Regional honours. AHAEC honoured Magiseyn+, inducting him

into the Hall of Fame in 2018, and we were very pleased that Donna was able to join us all that memorable evening as we all watched a touching video of Magiseyn+ and Donna. When Magiseyn’s photo came on the screen, we all heard Donna say, “that’s my horse”. A very proud Arabian horse owner. We extend our sympathy to Marc Fortin & his family.
