#RearingToGo is a mental health awareness campaign set up by Peter & Paula Hynes in late 2018 with it's main aim being to create awareness around mental health and promote mental wellbeing in the agricultural sector, fundraise for charities already working in mental health & suicide prevention.
On the 13 September 2019 RearingToGo will hold a Conference and Workshop on mental health and wellbeing followed by an auction of calves and breeding hoggets at Halls livestock auction centre in Shrewsbury.
The conference will include speakers from UK charities , NFU vice president Stuart Roberts along with other industry experts while the workshop will be run by Crede Sheehy-Kelly, leading high performance psychologist and mental wellbeing expert. The aim of the workshop is to help build resilience and provide people with practical tools to manage their mental wellbeing on a daily basis.
