The Show Jumping Clas- sic was held at the Will Rogers Equestrian Center in Ft Worth May 15-19. Featured events were the $15,000 Hope Cup Four Bar and the $40,000 Grand Prix of Ft Worth.

The $5,000 Texas Green Stake


and the $1,000


USHJA Green Incentive started the excitement with the win go- ing to Captain America owned by Lori Mathews and ridden by Courtney Lenkart. Second went to Courtney riding Deluxe for Wesley Clingman.


MTM Farm also captured


the top five placings in the $7500 Welcome Stake. MTM Como No ridden by Tracy Fenney took home the top place. MTM Through the Looking Glass rid- den by Dorothy Douglas and owned by Davenport Farms was second.


On Friday the $5,000 EMO Jumper Classic saw Lights Out ridden by Jaelynn Downing take the blue. Second went to Himini owned by Evelyn Grace, LLC, and ridden by Colleen Acosta. In the hunter ring on Fri-


day, the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby had 23 entries and after the two rounds Echo Park owned by L&W Equine Invest- ments and ridden by Emma Flett took home the champion ribbon.


Reserve went to Lincoln VD Breemersen owned by Tammy Broyles and ridden by Tiffany Lee.


The feature event Friday evening saw 12 entries in the exciting $15,000 Hope Cup Four Bar. Trapp O’Neal and Dollar Cash owned by the TKO Part- nership jumped the final round at 1.85M to take the top place! Christian Heineking took second on NKH Carrido owned by the NKH, LLC.


Saturday evening got un- der way with the pony Sebastian (who won this class last year with a different rider and is owned by Music was the Madness) and Ava Myers took home the blue in the Cunningham and Cunningham $5,000 Pony Express. Next

Sunday was classic day in the jumper ring and Radio Flyer owned and ridden by Isa Lippman won the $2,000 Low Child/Adult Jumper Classic. The

Southwest Classic


Exhibitors returned May 21-25 to show again at Fort Worth during the SouthWest Classic Show. Tracy Fenney took the $35,000 Grand Prix of North Texas by storm. The feature event for this week, the $35,000 Grand Prix of North Texas, saw Tracy Fenney qualify her four mounts for the 6 horse jump off over Michele Vaillancourt’s course Friday night. Tracy end- ed up taking the top spot on Igor Van De Heibos owned by MTM Farm. Christian Heineking took second on NKH Darco Son owned by NKH, LLC. Earlier in the week Tracy also took home the blue ribbon in the $7,500 Welcome Stake on MTM Farm’s MTM Apple. Sec- ond in the Welcome Stake went to MTM Cravitz ridden by Na- talee Haggen and also owned by MTM Farm.

Nicole Saathoff, trainer, in- structor and owner of S4 Farm in Hockley, Texas, has been a USEF professional since 1999. She was a partner in Topline Farm plus owned Indian Hill Farm, both in southern CA, before returning to Texas in 2011 and starting S4 Farm. Before reaching profes- sional status Nicole enjoyed a successful junior career showing in “A” and “AA” horse shows from the Childrens Hunters through Grand Prix. Nicole com- peted at the top equitation level in the USEF Medal Finals in Harris- burg, PA three years in a row and qualified for the McClay Medal Regionals multiple years. She also won the THJA Medal Finals three years in a row, on three dif- ferent horses.


Nicole has shown through- out the country and she keeps in tune with the industry by period- ically training with top names in the field. As a professional, Nicole has both competed and trained top-level horses for USHJA Na- tional and International Derbies. Nicole’s students have earned championships in all divi- sions from Short Stirrup, to Hunt- ers to Jumpers to Equitation.
