y passion for skincare started in the early to mid 1980's when I attended Xavier High School and was part of Brother Houlihan's Introductory to Physical Sci- ence Class (aka-IPS). Skincare at this point became my absolute passion because your skin is the fi rst thing anyone sees during the process of aging. I had so many questions…can the aging process be stopped? Slowed down? And if so, how?
M I attended and graduated from the Barbizon School of
Modeling in West Hartford. I began modeling men’s suits and colognes in various high end department stores. I had many interesting conversations with the cosmetic specialists behind the cosmetic counter. They would show me the different skin creams priced at $150 dollars or more and I would read the labels and wonder why I couldn’t pronounce most if not all of the ingredi- ents. I wondered…how could these chemicals be good for your face. I was told it’s all about label buying…but that didn’t make any sense to me.
I became obsessed with how cells and skincare can have a symbiotic relationship if you introduce the right compounds. There lay the challenge of my lifetime and nothing was going to stop me. I knew many skincare products contained very dan- gerous ingredients, so I set out to create something unique and natural which would still have positive effects.
With the help of a retired chemist and feedback from my family of European doctors, I learned how to formulate these compounds with pinpoint accuracy to develop a skin cream which would be a true anomaly.
