complexities of running an effective workforce, issues such as Brexit and GDPR have added an extra layer of considerations to be managed by business owners and HR teams. Maria Gallucci, partner in
Woodfines’ Milton Keynes office and an experienced employment law specialist, recommends always issuing a contract to all new employees, detailing the basis of the employment, and being proactive in dealing with sickness absence by having a sickness policy compliant with the Equality Act 2010.
