Appointments Axis Group appoints new Head of Recruitment


Axis Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing security, cleaning, front-of-house and support services organisations, has appointed Billy Horgan as Head of Recruitment to further strengthen its people strategy to attract and retain the best talent across all parts of the business. Billy joins from Hermes, where he was successfully tasked with reducing recruitment


costs and bringing processes in house. He has also worked for facilities management and construction recruitment agencies, where he was responsible for setting team strategies and goals. Billy has already organised regular recruitment open days, which have attracted an

additional 120 security officers within the first three months. He has also introduced a new Applicant Tracking System that has streamlined the recruitment process, as well as providing further insight to Axis Group stakeholders. Internally, he is also promoting how existing staff can apply for new roles, to help further employee progression.


Cordant Security, part of Cordant Group, has appointed David McCann to the role of Risk & Resilience Director


McCann is a specialist in crisis management, counterterrorism, risk assessment, close protection, operations management and physical security. Within his new role, he will oversee and mitigate the risk and resilience requirements for Cordant Security and its clients. His duties will include carrying out full bespoke security risk assessments of client buildings, chairing the Security Risk Assessment Group (SRAG) meeting, and monitoring security horizon issues, such as protests or terrorism events. New Operations Director at Incentive Tec


Incentive Tec, the specialist M&E arm of Incentive FM Group, has appointed Craig Lyon as Operations Director for Projects. In his new role, Lyon will be responsible for continuing the development of the HVAC


and electrical projects capability within the business and supporting the wider Group. Originally trained as an apprentice controls electrician, Lyon has since developed his


career in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry, working for Trane chillers, Lennox Industries, Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin UK. Since moving into the projects sector 10 years ago, he has worked with several service


providers, most recently Birchalls. Lyon has a long history of providing HVAC project solutions to an extensive client base spanning 29 years in the industry. Client relationships include Costco, Tesco, Asda, McDonalds, Burger King, Cineworld, Warner Brothers and various shopping malls.
