YALDING PARISH-WIDE VISION TO 2037 CALL FOR SITES

Do you have or know of land which is potentially suitable for development?

GREAT SAVINGS ON WINDOWS DOORS AND CONSERVATORIES

5 WINDOWS £1510 FITTED Maidstone Borough Council is currently running a call-for-sites to meet its

Government assessed housing need and to inform the preparation of its Local Plan Review to 2037. Yalding Parish Council has agreed to undertake its own call for sites, independently of but in consultation with Maidstone Borough Council, to inform its Parish-Wide Neighbourhood Plan. While the two

processes are both looking to identify land with development potential, this parish-run call-for-sites, has specific reference to the feedback from residents. This revealed the community preference for small housing developments, sites suitable for commercial/leisure use to provide employment opportunities, and sites for rural, affordable, homes.

VOLUNTEERS JOIN OUR TEAM AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR YOUR NEW YEAR

You will be joining a small team responsible to the Manager. The role will involve supporting and managing client referrals in the West Kent area, including triaging and allocating case work to your team of volunteers to visit and support an older person with an issue, which could be benefits support, housing/council issue, or simply providing a voice to ensure their views are listened to. The work is varied and interesting and as part of the role you also undertake your own case work. You will be the first point of contact for your volunteers, acting as their sounding board and training partner.
