I AM FINALLY PREGNANT. “WHAT IS YOUR SECRET?” SHE ASKED

The Cheshire Farms Competition was first established 180 years ago and continues to go from strength to strength, with the continued support of our sponsors, entrants and dedicated committee. In November last year we gathered with industry experts, judges and competitors to present trophies to all the winners of the 2018 competition. Stuart and Alison Arden were the Supreme Farm Winners with Tom and Karen Halton being the Reserve Champions. We also presented some special awards and are pleased to share the details, Grant Pollard was awarded the most competent young person in agriculture and Becky Erskin won the Oxford Farming Conference award. Ed Whalley was presented with the Ambassador Award for years of hard work and dedication in the name of Agriculture.

The 2019 competition is almost ready to begin, and we have

a new toptable. Tony Garnett

is the president, Graham Parks Chairman, Chris Harvey

Vice Chairman and myself, Catherine Cross as the new secretary.

There are 23 classes available so there really is a class for everyone. If you've never entered before you should definitely give it a go,

we always love to see new faces.

We welcome entries from all over Cheshire and ask you to enter via the website www.cheshirefarmscompetition.co.uk If you have any queries please email: cheshirefarmscompetition@hotmail.com
