ALDE Valley Academy hosted
Alde Valley Trampolining competition The North Suffolk
Trampolining competition. The competition was for Year 7 - Year 11's. There were two categories, one for under 14's, and another for under 16's. The first and second place winners from both categories will participate in the Suffolk County finals in Ipswich on Tuesday 2nd April.
Six schools from the area attended the competition. There were 2 groups competing in each category from each school. The judges found it extremely hard to compare some fantastic performances. In the under 14 category:
Alde Valley 1 came 1st place, with Sir John Leman following in 2nd place. Both teams have been considered for a place in the county finals. In the under 16 category; Sir

trampolining competition, and for putting in so much hard work for the whole thing to take place. Mrs Mayhew Head of Faculty commented, “Both winning teams from both events will represent their school in the Suffolk County Finals on
April 2nd. The
Waveney Trust can be proud of its schools achievements”. “A special thank you to Hayley and Kaitlin for their judging on the day and for Hayley for all her hard work over the term with our trampolinists in the Alde Valley club time”.

Eastern Angles’ Norfolk & Suffolk Broads Play on Tours
THE Tide Jetty follows the story of two brothers, Tucky and Nathan who grow up on the banks of Breydon Water alongside tomboy, Eliza. The three of them are inseparable. As they grow older the inevitable happens and both the boys fall for her, but tragedy tears the trio apart and years later it is time to discover the truth of what really happened. Written by critically acclaimed playwright Tony Ramsay, The Tide Jetty is a new play combining music and movement to explore what we treasure and how and why we preserve it. Directed by Scott Hurran, whose recent credits include assistant directing with Blanche McIntyre on Women in Power (Nuffield Theatres & Oxford Playhouse), The Tide Jetty will be touring to
