Education Watch Crosfields School

As one of the leading co-educational day schools in the country, Crosfields educates girls and boys together from the age of 3. Astonishing changes occur as the children develop the foundations, the interests and the passions which stay with them throughout their lives. The girls and boys are educated thoroughly, they are educated imaginatively and they are educated broadly.

Set in 40 beautiful acres, close to Junction 11 of the M4, a vast range of diverse opportunities exist at the school. Whether it is in the swimming pool, or on the sports fields, acting on stage or playing a musical instrument, in the Art room or the Design and Technology studio, Crosfields intends to find where your child’s interests lie and where confidence can be fostered.

It is important that the girls and boys leave Crosfields knowing how to treat each other, that they can conduct themselves well in different environments, that they develop the character to respond to whatever life throws at them and that they more than meet their potential.

We are currently welcoming children for entry into Reception, in September 2019 and should very much welcome the opportunity to meet families interested in joining us. Do come along - You will discover that Crosfields is a very special place indeed. Please visit our website at www.crosfields.com or contact our Registrar on 0118 987 9902 or registrar@crosfields.com for more information.

St Piran’s offer education from

Nursery through to Year 6 You only get one ‘first day’ at school and at St Piran’s they aim to ensure that is a warm and welcoming one, helping your child take their first educational steps towards a rich and confident future.

St Piran’s is able to offer places to children, subject to space being available, at any time from Nursery to Year 6. The school benefits from excellent facilities offering the children an array of opportunities. These include an all weather sports pitch, extensive grounds, indoor swimming pool, new music technology suite, a newly refurbished science lab and new children’s kitchen.

Early Years pupils enjoy a very high teacher/student ratio, ensuring that each child gets the care, attention and support they need. Classes remain small, with a maximum class size of 20. Their independent status also allows them to interpret and tailor the requirements of the National Curriculum and put that structure to one side, if it seems appropriate.

St Piran’s are pleased to be able to offer parents flexible, wrap around care including Breakfast Club from 7.30am and extended day care until 6pm, plus Holiday Clubs if required.

St. Piran’s celebrated their latest Inspection from the Independent SchooI Inspectorate. The findings confirmed that in all aspects inspected, St Piran’s achieved the highest rating of ‘Excellent’. The full report can be found online. W: www.stpirans.co.uk
