ISE 2019 ISE in rich media

With so much of AV innovation driven by new concepts in work and leisure, print alone can prove inadequate to communicate these in- novations. This year, for the first time, AV News, and sister title UC News, introduced a new package of real-time rich media services for exhibitors, including live streamed video, 360-degree photography and video and podcasts. Here is the story of the show using some of the resources captured at the show.

conferences. Why, they asked, put your trust into an audio solution that can’t be relied on? They wanted visitors to ex- perience the Shure Microflex Advance MXA910 Ceiling Array Microphone with the IntelliM-

grator, wanted to show how the our IntelliMix DSP is optimized for audio conferencing to help make set-up faster and easier - less time on-site for integrators and more consistent sounding rooms for users.

of visitors through the booth; second, you can think about increasing the visitors to the booth level of engagement; and finally, three, you can increase the period over which the exhi- bition booth exerts influence, the so-called ‘long tail effect’ by using rich media to increase the reach and duration of the promotion.

Shure’s rich media focus

Shure joined the MyShow- Guide programme at ISE 2019 to underline the fact that ISE 2019 was the place to get your hands-on training, learning and collaboration with Shure networked systems products. Among the show highlights, we will be sharing audio solutions for AV conferencing, presenta- tions, events, and discussion. To help visitors find the per- fect solution the Shure booth at ISE offers a range of various themed zones, including those

From advanced wireless and wired conferencing systems to industry-leading ceiling and ta- ble array microphones – “if you need it, we have it” was the message. Looking at Crestron’s level of investment in ISE 2019, you might be surprised that the company elected to sign up as the headline sponsor of My- ShowGuide.com for the show. But there were some very spe- cific reasons. First, Crestron stages its annual Integration Awards Programme on the Wednesday afternoon of ISE and clearly wants as many cus- tomers and partners to be able to share the event. Second, this is a particular important year for Crestron EMEA and its transformation into the Tech- nological Innovations Group. TIG CEO Robin van Meeuwen wanted a public platform that allowed him to explain the rea- sons behind the move, and the signing of Oblong at the new sales agent’s second vendor; and finally, Creston introduced some new solutions that bene- fited from a full demonstration. Crestron live streamed its

Award presentation, providing and unlimited number of in-

terested parties to watch the proceedings even though they were unable to be present in Amsterdam. Robin and Mary Ann de Lares Norris, VP of Ob- long Industries EMEA, shared a podcast to explain the TIG offering to potential custom- ers: and, third, 4K video was captured featuring Crestron’s new product introductions and highlights from the company’s booth in Hall 2 of ISE 2019. The Crestron Integration

Awards 2019 have been run- ning for twelve years, and high- light the technical excellence of Crestron integrators, consul- tants and programmers from both residential and commer- cial projects throughout EMEA. Petra Van Meeuwen, Techno- logical Innovations Group (TIG) Media Relations Director, said that this year's awards pro- gramme was the most success- ful so far with 147 entries from 19 countries, featuring over 70 integrators.

“Our technology has a signif- icant impact improving homes, workspaces, public buildings and business productivity for millions of people around the globe. The Crestron Integration Awards is a great way to recog- nise the high standard of these projects and the incredible work undertaken by our integra- tion partners and Crestron ser- vice providers, without whom we wouldn’t be successful. It is a great honour for me to open the 2019 awards and I am very excited to see the amazing projects come in again this year from a diverse range of applica- tions across the EMEA region,” said Robin van Meeuwen. The Awards are judged by Robin van Meeuwen, CEO and founder of TIG, and a team of leading AV and design ex- perts.
