Customs courses now CPD accredited
BIFA is pleased to announce that both of its Customs-related courses now have official Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accreditation. The Freight and Customs
training courses we provide at BIFA continue to receive great feedback every week. However, until now they had not
been formally recognised by the CPD Certification Service. Carl Hobbis, BIFA’s Training
Jane retires Currently BIFA’s longest serving staff member, Membership Supervisor, Jane Robinson retires this month after 26 years of service. In her retirement Jane looks
forward to spending more time with husband Keith and the rest of her family.
Development Manager, said: “Getting your courses CPD accredited to prove that they have a structured, practical and methodical approach is essential. “It indicates to employers and
HR practitioners that the courses have reached a certain standard and gives confidence that by sending staff on one of our courses their key staff will be getting and developing the skills to maintain a
sustainable and competitive advantage. “As you would expect, we have
seen a massive surge in Customs training enquiries, so to have both our one-day introduction and our five-day BTEC courses accredited is fantastic news. “The one-day Introduction to
Import and Export course has also been accredited, as have all apprentice activities as well, such as behind-the-scenes tours and networking events.”
