Even amidst their impressive growth, Alps’ staff has remained relatively small. Currently, they boast 28 employees spread across sales, operations, and administrative functions. Each team member, however, has unmatched expertise in wire rope products and deep insight into the companies and markets that Alps serves. “Being small in the number of people employed


means everyone has experience and knowledge about how much of the company operates—and they’re capable of multiple functions,” said Benner—adding that each employee plays a pivotal role in helping to direct the company towards success, especially the leadership: “… who focuses their efforts on empowering people to take the steps necessary to meet the needs of our customers.”


FORWARD-FOCUSED


When considering the significance of the 50-year anniversary, Benner keeps his eyes firmly focused on the future. “It is a nice milestone,” he said, “but the beat goes on.” Benner expressed confidence in Alps’ ability to continue building its client base, expanding its national reach, and keeping up with a changing market landscape.
