Pro tip: open the app while on speaker- phone or video call, and give them little touches while you chat. It’s a great way to mimic the way you’d interact in person and they’ll appreciate the effort you’re making to make them feel cared for.

It will guide you through your tough days, their tough days and everyone’s least favourite day (Monday). Whether it’s sending an acapella quartet to their office on their birthday or always being the first to like their Instagram posts, all gestures big and small are just ways to continue growing together as you live apart.
So, sit back, relax and wait for the plane to take off. The holidays will be back again next year, and your relationships will be stronger than ever if you just remember to treat them like grass. It’s always green- est where you water it.
