Almost immediately upon us is the IIMS Baltimore Conference on 18/19 January in North America. If you are too distant, why not join as an online delegate? After a gap, the IIMS London Conference takes centre stage this year once again, being held on 17/18 June in the centre of the UK capital. Put this date in your diary now and prepare your travel plans in good time, especially if you need a VISA to visit the UK. The Conference Dinner will take place on Monday 17th June and the AGM on the afternoon of Tuesday 18th June commencing at 14.00. For distant members, the Conference and AGM will be broadcast online. However, for now, we are calling for Conference papers and full details about the Conference will follow soon. There is no specific Conference theme, but if you have a surveying topic you are keen to present and share with the wider marine surveying community, please see elsewhere in this bulletin for how to submit your proposal.

2019 IIMS London Conference – call for papers


You are invited to submit a proposal for consideration to present a paper at the IIMS London Conference on 17th or 18th June 2019 on a surveying related topic. Monday 17th will be a plenary session held in the Herringham Hall at Regent’s University, Regent’s Park, London. Tuesday 18th will be spilt into two sessions in the morning at the same venue, but with more of a workshop theme. In total we are planning to accommodate about 16 speaker slots over the two days.
