Award at the annual National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame induction ceremony October 9. Wharton tied for 6th place in the 2017 Mongol Derby, the world’s longest multi-horse race. Just completing the race is an accom- plishment as only half the racers usually finish the race in any given year. Wharton is also an NRHA member and a breeding manager.


Calyn Halvorson, Edmond, OK, has been plenty successful showing

At the All-American Quarter Horse Congress on Oc- tober 18, he won the AQHA and NSBA Senior Western Riding on Heza Radical Zip with a score of 240. Highpoint Performance Horses had 5 of the top 10 horses placing in the class.

Dale, and Guys Bigtime Streker’s 15.416 was fastest of 12 entries and won the Open 1D at the Barrel Racing Assoc of Texas October 20 event at Alvarado’s Shepherd Valley Cowboy Church arena.

won 4 of 5 events at the last of Trail to the Cross Cowboy Church’s 4-show series in Hillsboro October 21. That net- ted her the All-Around Cham- pion series buckle.
