Exertis has announced the pro- motion of Richard Hinds to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Paul Bryan, Exertis UK & I, Managing Director. Hinds will have responsibility for the fi- nance, purchasing, IT, logistics and customer services func- tions.


Hinds was previously


Group Finance director for Ex- ertis UK & I.

Hinds joined Exertis in 2015 from Flogas, an energy com- pany which is part of the DCC group, where he spent three years as the Finance Direc- tor. Prior to that, he worked at Speedy Hire in a variety of senior finance and operational roles, having previously spent four years serving in the Army. “I am delighted to be taking on this challenging role in what is an exciting time for Exertis as we continue to grow our busi- ness both organically and by acquisition. Exertis has announced some further or- ganisational changes to its European, UK and Ireland operations which posi- tion the companies to take advantage of opportunities to grow their business now and in the future. Paul Bryan, Exertis UK, Managing Di- rector will take on the added respon- sibility of the Irish business, supported by Rod McCarthy who becomes Head of Ireland following John Dunne’s pro- motion to the new position of Chief Commercial Officer, North America and Gerry O’Keeffe’s move to an interna- tional role responsible for expanding Exertis’ presence in existing and new territories, replicating the success already achieved in his previous posi- tion as Managing Director for the UK, Ireland and Middle East. McCarthy will report to Bryan with Dunne reporting to O’Keeffe. Both Bryan and O’Keeffe re- port to Tim Griffin, DCC Technology and Exertis Group Managing Director.

Philips Professional Display Solutions has appointed a new UK and Benelux Marketing Manager, Vicky Fox, and a UK Hospitality Sales Manag- er, Daniel Everett, to support the continued expansion of the business. The two new re- cruits follow hot on the heels of the appointment of Senior Key Account Manager, Ellie East, who joined the growing line-up in May this year. Vicky Fox joins Philips Profes- sional Display Solutions fol- lowing twenty years working as an Account Director in a number of marketing agen- cies. Vicky has planned and implemented hard-hitting in- tegrated campaigns across a wide spectrum of industries – including for AV, corporate, education, hospitality, public sector and travel clients – and brings a detailed knowledge to the team that spans the full marketing mix.
