Why Canada? Why FBC?


Canada is a major market for health and fitness equipment and related products. With a population of 35.3 million and a GDP of $1.82 trillion, Canada is the biggest trading partner of the U.S., importing over $50 million in commercial fitness products each year.


Fitness Business Canada has long been established as the single trade publication for this industry. International fitness publications have only minor circulations in Canada. FBC is known, respected and supported by all sectors throughout the country.


Canada is different. Government regulation differs from the U.S. and international markets. Our health care system is different. Currency, product standards, customer attitudes, provincial diversity, the French language and special status of Quebec – all are part of doing business in Canada.
