Kent Sport is delighted to announce the launch of its new Active Infants Award.


The award aims to recognise and reward the great work that infant and primary schools, across Kent and Medway, do with their key stage 1 pupils.


The criteria for the award is available to view on the Kent Sport website or can be sent electronically if you contact the team.


To apply for the Active Infants Award, you will need to establish where you fit relating to the criteria and collect a small amount of evidence (registers/trip slips/pictures) to which your claims of an award can be verified. You will also need to gather your evidence and place it within a file on your computer or ideally

within Kent Sport’s PE and Health Wheel so the level of award (gold, silver or bronze) can be decided.


Applications for the Active Infants Award are open throughout the year.


Once your evidence has been verified, you will be issued with an active infants plaque as well as logos which can be placed on letter and/or the school’s website.
