At the Annual Parish Meeting a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ was awarded
to Ben Byrom,

Flood Works at Deans Bridge The Braunton Flood Group has
carried out a minor works project to re-profile a small area of land to enable a clear flow of water through the 2-arch Deans Bridge. This will take away
the fast water flow from
the bend and away from the neighbouring land when the river reaches normal flood height. Having both bridge arches flowing clearly will help
remove silt build-ups that
accumulated on the still water side of the river. The project, led by Ben Byrom, was part funded by the Church as riparian owners, by
