Wooden Boat Race A and got her second win of the day. In Wooden Boat Race B, it was another battle of the John’s Bay built boats and again the winner was SAILOR’S WAY. Now came the Diesel Classes and fi rst

up was Class A which had three competitors at the start. The winner was Avery Water- man’s LEDGE HAMMER [Webber’s Cove 26, 225-hp John Deere]. In Class B it was all Cory McDonald’s HELLO DARLIN’ II [Holland 32, 220-hp Izusu]. The Class C winner was VENOM. In Class D it was Kaleb Campbell’s WARDEN’S WORRY [Duff y 35, 300-hp Cummins] getting the early lead and led the way to the fi nish. Class E was won by Julie Eaton’s CAT SASS [Crowley 28; 336-hp Cummins]. In Class F, the victory went to Deven Haskell’s HOOLIGAN [Young Brothers 38, slip; 375- hp Cummins]. When they came by mid-course it was stem to stem and noone seemed to be getting the upper hand. At the line the win went to MISTY. Nine boats were on the line for Class J and all expected GOLD DIGGER to come across fi rst, but UNCLE’S UFO had a diff erent idea, but just could not get by her. There were two entrants, Andrew Taylor’s BLUE EYED GIRL [Morgan Bay 38, 900-hp Scania] and

LA BELLA VITA, in Class K, but just one, Tom Clemons’ MOTIVATION [Northern Bay 36; 1,000-hp Caterpillar], in Class L so they were run up together. In Class M(A) just two boats were on the line and the winner was OLD SCHOOL. On the line for Class M(B) was KIMBERLY ANN and MISS AMITY, each with two wins. When they came by the half way point they were bow to bow with maybe the advantage going to MISS AMITY, who at the fi nish line got the win. The only race that needed to be split was Class N. The top three boats from each heat then headed down for the fi nals. At the drop of the fl ag JACALWA broke away and got the win. There was only one boat, WILD WILD WEST, entered in Class O, who came up the course uncontested. Next was the Deer Isle-Stonington Ex-
