NALHFA Plans First Legislative Conference - Register Now!

With so much at stake and few opportunities to advance the legislative priorities of the local housing finance community, we invite you to join us for the first ever NALHFA Legislative Conference to be held in Washington D.C. from October 2-4, hosted by

the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency.

Congress and the Trump Administration are working to enact legislation on important public policy issues and this conference is your opportunity to hear from the lawmakers and representatives from federal agencies directly. NALHFA will bring members of the United States Congress directly to the conference to speak to you. NALHFA staff will also schedule appointments for its members to meet personally with your lawmakers to make sure our collective legislative priorities and concerns are shared with leaders that are in a position to make a difference. You are the best representative for your local communities and the housing finance industry, and your personal stories make a persuasive and powerful case for policies that will make affordable housing and the overall economy stronger.

Representatives from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Treasury Department, Congressional offices, and industry leaders will discuss the driving issues HFAs need to know. Additionally, this forum will provide NALHFA members with a forum to discuss challenges that local communities are facing and share best practices offering solutions.
