Liskeard Show 2018 COMPANION DOG SHOW


The Companion Dog Show is becoming more and more popular each year. There are many different classes to enter with pedigree and novelty classes which are open to all dogs over six months old. Entries are taken on the day from 12noon with judging starting at 1.00pm. Come and see which dogs catch the eye of the judge for this year. Full schedule below.

No puppy under 6 months may be shown. No C.C, Res. C.C. or Junior Warrant Winners may be shown in Pedigree

COUNTRYSIDE AREA There is always plenty to see and do here – covering many aspects of the countryside. There will be a farrier,


blacksmith, thatcher and weaver all showing their skills, sheep shearing by the Young Farmers, sheaf pitching, racing ferrets and vintage tractors where you can talk ‘all things tractors’ with their owners.


We also have our very own “Woolly Jumper Show” with live sheep!


CLASSIC CARS


The Classic Cars were so popular last year they are returning again this year. An abundance of makes and models will be on show and their keen owners delighted to tell you all about them.

PETS CORNER/MODEL FARM EXHIBITS AND REMOTE CONTROL TRACTORS


Hendra Farms will be running the Pets Corner marquee and will have a variety or small animals, birds and reptiles on display. Also watch out for the Alpacas! Please remember if you handle any animals at the show then ensure you wash your hands after doing so. Hand washing facilities are provided around the showground. Also in the marquee will be model farm exhibits and new this year a Remote Control Tractor Course.


FARMYARD AREA A selection of animals and exhibits will be on display to provide agricultural education and fun to children and young adults. New this year is KuneKune Pigs and British Boer Goats.
