Maidstone Rock Choir will be performing from 1.45pm to 2pm; the Holy Cross Puppets from 2.30pm-2.45pm and the Downs Mail is again sponsor- ing the carnival princess award. On the Green there will be over 100 stalls, arena events and competitions, the popular Family Fun Zone, offering lots to do for children of all ages, and the Activity area, with games from the Tennis club, Korfball and many more. Food and Drinks will be available, including the famous
Scouts BBQ and from the Guides Tea and Cake tent. Mick’s “hot Licks” will be providing the musical entertainment, with classic 50s and 60s hits.
All that you need do, is turn out and enjoy the day.
PROCESSION ROUTE
The parade leaves Madginford Community Hall at 12.15pm and travels via Egremont Road, Madginford Road, Royston Road, Rosemary Road, Ashford Road, The Landway, Hog Hill and The Street, arriving at the Green at 1.15pm. Please keep the procession route clear during the parade. Road closures will be in place for the procession.
