SPEEDLOCK™ double snap connectors for moments when time is money
Electricians can connect armoured cable, metal clad cable or flexible metallic conduit to steel boxes twice as fast and at less cost than traditional connectors by using Emerson Appleton® SPEED-LOCK™ double snap connectors. SPEED-LOCK connectors require no tools or a locknut, leading to overall job cost savings without compromising quality. Patented Speedlock connectors installs in seconds. Electricians simply snap the connector onto the cable, and then snap it into the knock-out. Besides being faster to install, SPEED-LOCK connectors feature a unique design that eliminates loose component parts for total reliability. SPEED-LOCK connectors are available in several specific configurations.

Voltclaw Combo Pack gives electricians safer, more versatile wire control
Pulling, pushing, grabbing and bending wires is a major part of every profes- sional electrician's daily grind. To make it safer and easier on the widest range of wires, Nonconductive Tool Company (NTC) announced a value-packed combo offer of its original Voltclaw-12 hand tool and its Voltclaw Multi-Gauge tool. NTC broke barriers in traditional tool design when it first introduced its Voltclaw-12, the industry first non-conductive wire control tool. For the first time, electricians could grip, hook, push, bend and pull 12-14 gauge wires in outlets, switches, junction boxes and breaker panels without damaging wire insu- lation like metal tools can. More importantly, they
could do the job safer because the all nylon Voltclaw-12 is fully non-conductive to 1000V. Incredibility versatile, it even lets electricians loosen and tighten twist-on wire connec- tors with ease. Lightweight & compact, the Voltclaw-12
AEMC Voltage tester designed to ensure that you always know definitely what item is electrified and what isn’t
AEMC’s Voltage Tester Model C.A 771 is an essential tool for electricians to ensure voltage is not present before working on any electrical equipment or installation connected to the electrical system. Compliant with IEC 61243-3 Edition 2, the C.A 771 VAT can be used to work on any 1000V CAT IV installation. To meet the requirements of the
standards in certain countries, these testers are available in two versions: equipped with IP2X test probes or without. The C.A 771 has a redundant
safety system in the event of power supply faults; the ELV LED flashes when the voltage exceeds 50VAC / 120VDC. Safety is ensured when testing
GFCI and Residual Current Device (RCD) tripping by means of a double control system. Both hands are necessary to press
the two buttons simultaneously. The integrated autotest checks the electrical circuits, power supply, displays and the condition of the measurement leads. Phase rotation measurement is
simple and quick with the 2-wire microprocessor system. Audible and visual continuity testing is provided in compliance with Appendix B of the IEC 61243-3 standard. The tester can also detect stray voltages and offers unipolar phase identification.

fits perfectly into a tool belt. Designed for safety on the toughest electrical jobs, the Voltclaw Multi-gauge takes its predecessor's award- winning legacy features and doubles down on the versatility. Like the Voltclaw-12, it is non-con- ductive to 1000V - making it a far safer alternative to metal screw- drivers or wire strippers for the grabbing, pulling, push- ing and bending of electrical wires, delivering peace-of- mind even when navigating in the most crowded electrical boxes. A built-in sliding wire gripper is optimized to tightly grasp on 6-16 gauge wires com- monly used in commercial and residential installations. It also features two pull hooks, one on the front and one on the back, to handle both small or larger wires.

ArcFM Editor XI extends core Esri gas & electric utility network data models with unique domain specific ArcFM capabilities
D
etectingSchneider Electric, a provider of Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions for utilities and
communication providers, has announced the release of ArcFM Editor XI. ArcFM Editor XI is said to ‘build on the proven value of ArcFM by providing increased productivity, data validation, network analysis and enhanced editing tools for both the electric and gas GIS editors’. ArcFM Editor XI will extend the core Esri gas and electric utility network data models with unique domain-specific ArcFM capabilities – all of this built on the new foundation of the ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension. Built specifically in ArcGIS Pro and for Esri’s Utility Network Management Extension, ArcFM Editor XI provides new ways for ensuring the highest quality data and delivers new editing tools for keeping asset and network data at its best. With increased automation and reduced editing times, ArcFM Editor XI makes a GIS editor’s work simpler, streamlined and faster while benefiting downstream systems that rely on the data. • The ArcFM Data Validation Assistant offers data quality control
and error resolution, ensuring your system of record delivers data quality and integrity needed to enable GIS enterprise integrations. • Quick insights through advanced network intelligence, tracing
and inquiry tools for both gas and electric networks. • A new ArcFM Visual Editing tool that provides a more simplified workflow, improving overall editing efficiency for both electric and gas operable devices. • Customisable tasks and pre-configured maps for quick job sketching and commissioning. • A new ArcFM Construction tool that extends feature template
editing by providing automatic phase attribute edits. • The ArcFM Data Model, extended from Esri’s utility network
model, has been optimized for high fidelity data and phase based tracing.
ArcFM Editor XI streamlines the Utility Network Management Extension’s editing requirements and enhances its editing framework with utility-specific workflows. To experience this firsthand, we offer a Building Your ArcFM XI Pilot program. This program enables customers to better prepare, budget, and reduce risk as they migrate to the Utility Network Management Extension. “he Utility Network is the single biggest change to the system of
record that we’ve seen in 18 years,” Jay Stinson, general manager at Schneider Electric, tells UKPN. “What’s especially valuable about ArcFM Editor XI and the entire ArcFM Solution XI Series is that they can immediately impact the speed and ease of work now, while bridging customers to the Utility Network according to their schedule, budget and scope. This flexibility gives utilities the freedom to take advantage of new tools and capabilities today while knowing they will be supported as they make the transformation to a digital utility in the years ahead.”
