Personal Legal Services
Family Law Our family lawyers share a breadth of legal experience and negotiation skills. As members of resolution, we are committed to resolving family law matters in a constructive and non-confrontational manner and adopting best practices in family law in accordance with the Law Society’s Family Law Protocol.
Our family law services include but not limited to: • Divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, division of assets following relationship breakdown, prenuptial and separation agreements and financial provision for children.
• Unmarried partners in cohabitation and separation agreements, financial provision for children and property claims under Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
• Children disputes including child arrangement orders, special guardianship, prohibited steps orders, parental responsibility and specific issue orders which include relocation, name change, tracing a child’s whereabouts and so forth.
• International children law including bringing or defending action where a child has been abducted to a Hague or non-Hague convention country and applications which requires the court to exercise its inherent jurisdiction to protect children’s welfare.
• Advising on and drafting Surrogancy Arrangements applying for Parental Orders and assisting on alternative methods to obtain legal guardianship
• Domestic Abuse including non-molestation orders for associated persons and occupation orders and forced marriage applications
• Defending care proceedings, applications to discharge or vary care orders, adoption
Immigration Law for individuals • Family applications- such as in-country and entry clearance, family re-unification, durable subsisting relationships, children and dependent relatives
