Notice of May 8, 2018 Primary Election Guilford County Board of Elections


A Primary Election will be held in Guilford Coun- ty on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Voters’ regular polling places will be open for voting on election day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.


The deadline to register to vote on election day has passed, however, same day registration is available during early voting only.


Most voters will not be required to show photo identification to vote in this election.


The deadline to request a ballot by mail is Tues- day, May 1st. An extension may be possible for persons with a sickness or disability. All polling places are accessible to the elderly and disa- bled.
