Wadelincourt American War Memorial In the commune of Wadelincourt, a war memorial named ‘This Point’ marks the end point of the American troops’ advancement in the Meuse Offensive. Led by Marshal Foch and General Pershing, they pushed German forces back to Sedan and eventually Wadelincourt, where on November 10, 1918 Pershing made a poignant speech in honour of his troops. 08200 Wadelincourt

Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Memorial
The largest French military cemetery in the world, containing the remains of more than 40,000 French soldiers, with a beautiful basilica and memorial buildings.

Musée du Chemin des Dames The Musée du Chemin des Dames is the most visited museum in Aisnes. A former limestone quarry 15 metres below ground, the Caverne du Dragon became a tactical stronghold where underground battles were fought. Batailles de la Marne Standing on the top of a hill in the grounds of Château de Dormans, this is the principal monument to the soldiers who were killed in the two Battles of the Marne.
