Inspirational Kitchen Design for Inspirational Homes…
It is not difficult to understand why Aaron and Christina fell in love with their home in the beautiful village of Oxshott, Surrey and knew instantly that this was where they wanted to raise their family.
The open plan kitchen and dining area is positioned within an orangery which boasts a stunning rafted ceiling that simply pools the room with light, making it a key focal point of the house. The existing kitchen was functional but old fashioned, and with such exceptional architecture the couple seized the opportunity to have the kitchen of their dreams!
In the summer of 2017, the couple arranged a consultation with Raycross Interiors at the extensive showroom in Byfleet Village. They discussed their preferences for the new kitchen layout and in turn the consultant explained how the design process worked, detailing the quality of products on offer as well as the company’s expertise in delivering outstanding customer service spanning over 40 years.

The couple were then invited back to the showroom to view the 3D visuals of the new kitchen. They were impressed that the unique roof structure of the
kitchen had been incorporated which gave them an invaluable insight into how the proposed design would work. Once a few minor adjustments had been made, the installation date was set for November to ensure everything would be complete in time for the big family gathering at Christmas.
Measuring 7.5m x 4.2m, the kitchen was designed around the couple’s desire to host relaxed gatherings for their family and friends.
Their wish list included a bi-fold dresser pantry unit as well as appliances from the Siemens iQ 700 series.
In the centre of the kitchen stands a very impressive island, designed for maximum storage and to provide plenty of work surface. A pull-up power socket incorporating USB connectors has been installed to ensure the full functionality of the preparation area.
A large double bowl Belfast sink with the latest Quooker Flex Tap are positioned near the window overlooking the family’s front garden.
Utilising a
very clever storage facility, two le mans carousel units have been installed in each corner of the kitchen.
The clients’ choice of the ‘Cirrus’ range of furniture in colour palette mid-grey looks extremely stylish with the Shaker beaded in-frame door.
