Visiting Vessels Please follow these rules for all berthing unless otherwise instructed in individual berthing sections. ■ On arrival, please contact DHNA on VHF Channel 11 (call sign DARTNAV).


■ Visitors should berth in accordance with River Patrol instructions and observe locally signed berthing instructions out of hours.


■ If you intend to stay longer than 14 days, then please contact the Harbour Office. ■ Please refer to the latest edition of Admiralty chart 2253 to ensure safe berthing of your vessel.


■ The owner or master of the vessel remains responsible at all times for the safe and suitable berthing of their vessel and the safety of the crew.


■ Berths are available on a strict first come, first served basis only, and may not be available at certain times due to maritime events.


■ Make contact with River Officers or the Harbour Office to arrange for payment of berthing fees and harbour dues.

Midstream Buoys • For large/commercial vessels.


• Please apply to the Harbour Office (01803 832337 or info@dartharbour.org) for availability of facilities 72hrs in advance.


• Vessels of 50m or more are required to take the services of a pilot.


• Certain vessels over 20m are also subject to compulsory pilotage.


• Enquire at the Harbour Office or visit the website www.dartharbour.org.


Leisure Mono-hull: 85p per metre per day Leisure Multi-hull: £1.20 per metre per day


Commercial: Up to 75m £3.40 per metre per day Over 75m £6.50 per metre per day


DHNA Yacht Club pontoon


DHNA Yacht Club Pontoon Just north of Lower Ferry on west side of river.


• Pay in the Harbour Office. • Vessels up to 9m LOA.


• Seasonal walk ashore pontoon May to September only.


• Rafting on outside, two deep only.


• Tenders up to 4.3m may berth on inside area (marked area) free for up to 2 hours. Fees apply for longer periods.


• Pontoon can suffer from a SE swell in harbour.


• No water or electricity. Mono-hull: £1.35 per metre per day Multi-hull: £2.10 per metre per day


South Embankment Quayside Between DHNA Yacht Club pontoons and Town Jetty on west side of river.


• No Berthing without the permission of the Harbour Master


• Visiting vessels /short stay only.


• This area dries out on certain tides - mariners are strongly recommended to consult their charts and consider the suitability of their vessel to take the ground.


• Do not block steps and ladders. Midstream Bouys
