EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE It also highlights the experience in studies of marine and coastal resources, as well as in the study of marine energy converters with SENERWave,


a software designed internally to simulate floating and fixed devices in sea conditions. All this expertise, added to their capacity for carrying out multidisciplinary EPC projects, allowing them not only to analyse the feasibility of marine renewable projects but also to accomplish the design, construction and commissioning of them.


DEVELOPMENT


SENER has also developed and patented its own Wave Energy Converter based on the Oscillating Water Column (OWC) principle and has developed two devices for deep and shallow waters. In addition, they patented, designed and tested the main equipment of the technology: a high- efficiency unidirectional air turbine and air check valves.
