58, gained her wings December 18. She was not only a skilled veteri- narian, she loved horses and horse shows. She will be greatly missed, having been one of the toughest, sweetest, most down-to-earth women in the horse industry. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm, February 10, at El Lobo Arena in Gainesville.


Ruth Moore, 86, San Angelo,


died at home December 29. She and her late husband Jerry raised and shows Paint and Quarter Horses and enjoyed showing them.


Wesley McDaniel, 69, Lon-


don, AR, died December 29 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a past member of the AR State Horse Show Board of Directors, Pope County Riding Club, and AR Val- ley Horse Show Association.

suddenly of an apparent heart at- tack January 18. The amazing stal- lion stood at Merrill O’Neal’s Barrel Horses, Ruston, LA, and had been a treasured part of Mer- rill’s life for 18 years. w
