Come and explore the wonders of the winter night sky, observing stellar nurseries, galaxies, jewel like star clusters and a supernova remnant. Members of the Whitby and District Astronomical society will guide you around the heavens. You can also take part in the scale solar system demonstration and find out just how enormous space really is. If conditions are not conducive for observing outside, the universe will come indoors with a presentation on the winter night sky and a look back at the Cassini mission to Saturn.
