Chief of Staff of the Army General Mark Milley’s Professional Reading List has 100+ books. The selected works cover war and strategy over centuries, American military history from colonial times through the Vietnam War, ideas from the crossbow to the intercontinental ballistic missile, U.S. global power, lessons about leadership, the networked world, and the future of war.
