The qualities of Gorilla Glue have been well known since 1972. It is polyurethane that is the bottle and really works. Just squeeze out the gap and forcing itself into the pores of the timber.
Once hard it can be sanded, chiselled or highly effective but good value. Remember that Gorilla Glue requires less clamping time and yet has the longest open time.
Gorilla Glue can be used both indoors and out larger gaps. It is therefore a better glue for wood end grain, as it will be better absorbed into the wood tubules, than the more common aliphatic glues.

• How do I use gorilla glue? Lightly dampen one surface with water. For dense hardwoods, lightly dampen both surfaces prior to gluing. Spread a thin layer of Gorilla Glue onto the other surface. DO NOT OVER APPLY GLUE. Clamp objects together for 1-2 hours or use heavy objects to achieve clamping pressure. Bond line improves with better clamping.
• Is Gorilla Glue harmful? Gorilla Glue should always be keep out of children and animals reach as it can be potentially fatal if swallowed. Gorilla Glue is harmful to the skin and so gloves and other protective clothing should be worn when in use. If inhalation causes physical discomfort remove to fresh air.
• Where can I use Gorilla Glue? including: Foam, Glass, Wood, Stone, Metal, suggest you don’t use it on cooking equipment or other food preparation tools.
• When does it work best?
Gorilla Glue works best a room temperature and should never be heated or microwaved.
