She has always been in- volved with horses and she and her late husband, Kenneth, were 4-H leaders for many years. Prepping for the storm, some 4-H record books were stored in a big Ziploc bag that re- mained intact. Having lost so much, daughter Daisy Chenoweth was thrilled to find photos from her first pee-wee class long ago and others showing her father with her oldest son at a show. Recently she also lo- cated the buckle she got when she showed the champion aged gelding at the 1986 Texas State 4-H Horse show.
