Prominent Powder Manufacturer Orders Vacuum Inert Gas Atomizing Furnace from Consarc
Consarc Corporation, an Inductotherm Group Company, has been awarded a contract for the turnkey installation of a 2000 lb Vacuum Inert Gas Atomizing (VIGA) Furnace from a major manufacturer of vacuum atomized powders. The VIGA furnace will use
Atomising System Limited (ASL) nozzles and proprietary Anti- Satellite Technology, as well as High Temperature Gas Delivery System. The combination of Consarc melting and ASL atomizing technology will provide the highest available powder production yields. “Our cooperation with Atomising Systems Limited brings together two state-of-the-art companies for a common goal of providing our customers with the most productive Vacuum Inert Gas Atomizers available,” says Jai Narayan, President of Consarc Corporation. “We are excited about this opportunity to participate in the growing vacuum atomized powder market and look forward to making an impact by the joint application of our technologies.” The VIGA system will be delivered and commissioned in 2018.

Vasko is also a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Wisconsin. As Sales Manager at FBPC, Vasko
is responsible for maintaining and developing sales in investment castings, focusing on industrial markets and new applications. Vasko earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh; Master of Arts degree in Technology from Kent State; and an MBA from Waynesburg University.
