Christmas Lights and Festive Surprises at The Lexicon


Head to The Lexicon this Christmas where there are festive delights waiting on every corner, from the first flicker of the Christmas Lights switch-on through to the buzz of excitement on Christmas Eve. The celebrations start on Saturday 18th November and will keep you well and truly entertained whilst you shop! There will be masses going on from midday, and the Forest Snow Queen will help switch on the brand new Christmas lights when darkness falls. Festival of Light: Lantern Procession illuminates Newbury


Celebrate a family tradition in Newbury, as the 7th Festival of Light: Lantern Procession gathers everyone together to share in this stunning winter outdoor event on Sunday 10th December. Join them from 4pm as the Lantern bearers meet and start to light their lamps, with the procession starting from 4.30pm on Northbrook Street, and parading to Market Place in Newbury Town Centre. Why not go along to one of their free Lantern Making Workshops, or just head down on the day and enjoy the spectacle and atmosphere, as hundreds of lights twinkle through the streets of Newbury getting everyone in the mood for a happy, joyful Christmas! Family Raceday at Ascot The Christmas Racing Weekend and Family Raceday at Ascot Racecourse on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd December is the perfect way to get well and truly into the festive spirit before the main event!
